EGYPT FARM

This is a photo from 1940s showing the staff with a horse and cart full of hay. Egypt farm or Little Egypt can be found at the top of Dalness Street. The farm is said to have got its name after the son of the farm, a Soldier who served in Egypt and who then returned to Tollcross and named the farm after his sons time there.
